Bukit Jambul LRT Station (S09) is a light rail transit station on the Penang
Mutiara Line. The station is located along Jalan Tun Dr Awang, in front of
Bukit Jambul Complex, between Sungai Nibong LRT Station to the northeast and
SPICE LRT Station to the southwest.
The station is planned to serve commuters, residents and visitors travelling
to nearby neighbourhoods, including Bukit Jambul, Sungai Nibong Kecil, Bukit
Gambir and the northern part of Bayan Baru. It will also provide convenient
access to Bukit Jambul Complex and the Rapid Penang Bus Hub, improving
public transport connectivity in the surrounding area.
Bukit Jambul LRT Station is expected to provide an additional transport
option for daily commuting, connecting passengers to George Town, Bayan
Lepas and other destinations along the Mutiara Line.
The station is planned to include passenger drop-off and pick-up areas for
private vehicles and e-hailing services, providing convenient connections to
the LRT network.
