FIZ North LRT Station (S06) is a light rail transit station on the Penang
Mutiara Line. The station is located along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah in the
northern part of the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone, between Jalan Tengah
LRT Station to the northwest and FIZ South LRT Station to the south.
The station is planned to serve factory workers, commuters and visitors
travelling to nearby industrial facilities, including Osram, IQ Group and B.
Braun Medical Industries. It will also provide convenient access to nearby
places of worship, including Snake Temple, Sivan Temple and Than Hsiang
Temple.
FIZ North LRT Station is expected to provide an additional transport option
for daily commuting, connecting workers and visitors to Bayan Lepas, George
Town and other destinations along the Mutiara Line.
The station is planned to include passenger drop-off and pick-up areas for
private vehicles and e-hailing services, providing convenient connections to
the LRT network.
