The proposed Jalan Universiti LRT Station is the 8th station on the Mutiara Line from Komtar Transportation Hub. It is located in Minden, between the University of Science Malaysia (USM) and the Regiment 2, Royal Military Police Corps.

The station is between the Gelugor Station in the north and the Batu Uban Station in the south. The Station will also serves the Penang Youth & Sports Complex.

The proposed Jalan Universiti LRT Station is expected to provide an alternative of transportation to the students and staffs of USM when it complete and start operation on a later date.
