Macallum LRT Station (S19) is a light rail transit station on the Penang
Mutiara Line, located alongside the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway near Macallum
Street Ghaut in George Town. The station will serve nearby residential
communities and commercial areas.
Its location will provide convenient access to local destinations, including Sri
Saujana Apartment, Macallum Street and nearby shopping areas. The station also
plays an important role in the Mutiara Line's connection between central George
Town and Penang Sentral, with services branching towards the two destinations.
Macallum LRT Station is expected to benefit residents, office workers and
visitors travelling between George Town and the mainland, improving public
transport connectivity across the region.
Passenger drop-off and pick-up areas are planned to facilitate transfers from
private vehicles and e-hailing services to the LRT network.
