The proposed Macallum LRT Station is the 2nd station on the Mutiara Line from Komtar Transportation Hub.

To be beside the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway, it will be between the Komtar Station in the north and the Bandar Sri Pinang Station in the south.

As proposed, the Macallum LRT Station will be an interchange station for Penang Sentral Station and is just a stone's throw away from the Sri Saujana Apartment.

The immediate vicinity of the Macallum LRT Station include Macallum Street Ghaut, Macallum Street and T+ Hotel, among others.

The proposed Macallum LRT Station is expected to be completed and start operations at a later date.
