Penang Waterfront LRT Station (S15) is a light rail transit station on the
Penang Mutiara Line, located alongside the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway near
The Light Waterfront development in Gelugor.
The station is planned to improve access to The Light City, Penang Waterfront
Convention Centre and Lotus's Hypermarket. These destinations are expected to
attract shoppers, business visitors, event attendees and residents from
surrounding neighbourhoods.
Penang Waterfront LRT Station will provide a convenient public transport option
for accessing waterfront commercial and lifestyle destinations, while connecting
the area with George Town and other communities along the Mutiara Line.
Passenger drop-off and pick-up areas are planned to facilitate transfers from
private vehicles and e-hailing services to the LRT network.
