The proposed Penang Waterfront LRT Station is the 6th station on the Mutiara Line from Komtar Transportation Hub. It is located beside the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway, adjacent to The Light Waterfront, most likely across the road from the Caltex petrol station.

Penang Waterfront LRT Station is expected to serve the commuters, shoppers and diners at Tesco Penang and business premises in The Light Waterfront.

It is located between the East Jelutong Station and the Gelugor Station. The proposed Penang Waterfront LRT Station is expected to be completed and start operations at a later date.
